Video of Abigail Singing at VBS
VBS was so awesome this year. We had so many visitors and one night we had like 106 kids (over 100 kids) and possibly 13 salvations. I pretty sure it is the most DBC has ever had. Also, we are up 30 percent from last year since going to two services. Jesus is doing so amazing things at David Baptist Church!

Video of the Kids Swimming
Jackson has come so far this summer with his fear of swimming. Last summer, he was not afraid at all, until he went to group swim lessons and they made him jump off the deep in and did not tell him they would not catch him till he was under water. Jackson likes to be in control and that did not go over too well with a 3 year old! Puddle jumper floats have been such a blessing this summer and now Abigail swims and floats all by herself while we are swimming too with her puddle jumper float.

Fun Friday: Video of the Kids Playing in the Ocean
The kids loved playing in the ocean this year, even though the water was a little chilly! We might have to plan another trip to the beach this year because the kids did so well and enjoyed it so much. Every year we take our big beach trip and one vacation of the year on the week of my dad's birthday in May (we stay at my dad's mom's house in Charleston). We had a great trip this year! Hopefully, I will get all my pictures uploaded soon (I am started to just upload pictures here on my blog, and not on facebook).

Movie Monday: DBC Easter Egg Hunt 2011
We were so excited that around 130 people came out for our Easter Egg Hunt. The Preschool Committee did such a great job! God gets all the glory! It was a great outreach event and we are so glad we decided to move it to Sunday when we saw there was going to be 90 percent chance of rain on Saturday. Also, Easter Sunday we had 250 in worship which was a record. It is an excited time at David Baptist Church, and we are so thankful.

Movie Monday: First Tee Ball Game of 2011
Our first tee ball game of this year was indoors due to all the rain Saturday. Jackson was the first batter up in the entire game! He did well, and it did take the kids some time to get adjusted to the foam ball. The coach also let him play the pitcher spot for one inning, and he did so well! He was so cute throwing it in, and one time he checked third base and then decided to throw to first.

Jackson is crazy good at swords on the Wii (Wii Sport Resort Game). I do not think KK ever beat him. It was so great to have her come up for the day and see our house!

Movie Monday: Charlie and Abigail watching Gamecock Baseball
Since the Gamecocks won the national championship in baseball last year, we have been watching a lot of the games this year online. We also have been working on Jackson's Cubbie's verse all week long, and Abigail wanted to do it to and ended up learning the hard verse too. Hopefully, this year I will save up enough money to get a new digital camera that has hd video...this camera has almost had it!

Movie Monday: Jackson and Abigail Asleep in the Car after the Zoo
I do not get to see the kids sleeping much at all in the day time anymore. They were worn out! I did not think it was possible but I love them more and more everyday!

Movie Monday: "Shy" Abigail Saying her Colors
Abigail is not shy at home and talks all day long. BUT get her in front of a camera or a small amount of people looking at her, she becomes very shy. I was excited to get her to say this much in front of the camera!

Movie Monday:Singing in the Bed with the Flu
Jackson got diagnosed with the flu on Feb. 4th (yes we all had our flu shots), and then Abigail and Charlie got some sort of virus that was not the flu, so needless to say we all spent lots of time in the bed the last couple of weeks. Charlie started letting them watch Yo Gabba Gabba music videos online and they would all sing and dance...it was too cute!

Movie Monday: Singing at VBS
VBS was so great this year at David Baptist Church! My kids got to ride a real horse, learn all the songs, and play on a bounce house. Beverly Scruggs, April Van Dyke did such a great job! But the best news ever is 9 children (for sure) made the most important decision of their lives in accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior! GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY!
