Christmas Pictures 2008

Every year we take turns with Thanksgiving and Christmas at each others parent's house. We think it is important to be surrounded by family on the holidays. This year was my family's Thanksgiving and Charlie's parents Christmas which worked out well for us since Charlie's family is in Columbia and Abigail was just born like two weeks prior to Christmas. On Christmas Eve we went to Rock Hill to see all of Charlie's extended family and Abigail got to meet her great grandmother! Yay! It was so special. Kelly joined us Christmas Eve since she basically has to work all of Christmas. Christmas day we went over to Charlie's parents house for brunch and got to spend time with Charlie's family. It was such a special Christmas being able to share it with this precious miracle (Abigail) that God so gracious gave us. It just makes me even more thankful this year for the birth of our Savior. Praise the Lord our Savior was born!

Here is Charlie holding Abigail on Christmas day. She has thrush and we have had to put medicine on her mouth 4 times a day which has been hard. She is such a trooper!
She already seems like she is smiling to me. I think girls mature faster than boys!
Great family photo
Pray for Jackson. His tantrums have been frequent recently since his schedule has been messed up among many other factors. Papa is being very patient with him here
Mimi and Papa with their grandchildren. There will be one more grandchild next Christmas since Charlie's sister is having a little boy at the end of February.
I am so glad KK was with us on Christmas! It made it so special.
Praise the Lord Jackson loves to love on Abigail. He is so gentle with her!
Grandkids
Here is Charlie's mom's brother, Uncle Norman, holding Abigail in Rock Hill on Christmas Eve. Doesn't Charlie like similar to him?
Geemaw getting to meet Abigail. She is so blessed to have two living great grandmothers. I was so glad we were able to come!

Our Beautiful Blessing from God is Here: God Gets All the Glory!

Our baby girl, Abigail Easterlin Wallace, was born today at 1:17 pm weighing 6 pounds 11.9 ozs, her height was 19 inches and 3/4. She is a perfect miracle and already we see her gentle and quiet spirit (things do not seem to bother her and the doctor says she looks great!). My pitosin bag did not work for the first 2 hours and then it kicked in and she was born 2 hours later. Jackson was born at 11:17 am after an induction so if things had gone like they did with Jackson they might have been born at the exact same time. I only pushed like 4 times, and the doctor almost did not make it and my good friend Anna, a nurse, almost had to deliver her (I only had a small issue...God gets all the glory!)...things went so fast! She is so beautiful!!!!!!! I will hopefully post more pictures tomorrow!

Jackson's Chair

Here is Jackson sitting in his new favorite chair that Mimi and Papa gave us. He can climb up on to the chair all by himself. He is such a man already watching his TV in his recliner.

Jackson's First Easter

It was a great Easter. Charlie's whole family came here, and we had over 400 people at church. Church was a great celebration of our wonderful Savior rising from the dead. It was so wonderful to be at our church, and with family truly celebrating the fact that Jesus is who he says he is.

We Left Jackson for 2 nights for the first time!

Wow, we have been so busy. Today, is Charlie's 28th Birthday and the first two pictures are of Mrs. Tedder and her cake that she made Charlie for his birthday. We have the most caring church members! The next picture is my wonderful father, who along with my unbelievable mom, did a great job taking care of Jackson for 2 whole nights while we went to the "Empowered Church Conference" at Hickory Grove Baptist Church (Charlotte, NC). It was a wonderful conference and we learned so much. The first night the music was Brooklyn Tabernacle songs, and it was the best Christian music I have ever heard. They had a complete symphony and it was like we just stepped into the gates of heaven. We really had a wonderful time, and I hope to blog about some of the breakout sessions. It was good to get away for two night and have no bottles! But, when I heard him talking in the background on the second day, tears did come to my eyes. He started saying "daddy" to objects while we were gone. Jackson did great with my parents, but he definitely gave me lots of hugs and kisses when we got back. I also hope to blog about how he is doing soon and what are some issues we are struggling with. Charlie preached last night in our first of hopefully many contemporary services on Sunday night, and the service went great! Charlie's parents came and it was so good that they got to see Jackson--I think it had been a month since they had seen him!

“But those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Pictures from last weekend-Decemeber 15th

Wow! It was a big weekend. The first picture is from our Sunday School Christmas party that we had at our house. This is Brandon Osborne with our first baby Millie Boo. The second picture is of Jake Albright and Lauren Albright. Jake and Jackson are first cousins (this is Charlie's sister). This picture was taken at his 2nd Birthday party that was Saturday afternoon. Then, the rest of the pictures are from Jackson being dedicated at the church on Sunday. It is more a parent's dedication in that we covenant to raise Jackson in a Christian home, and tell him about our wonderful Lord and Savior. Sandi, Larry and Rylie Boo suprised us and got up at 5 am to see Jackson being dedicated. It really meant a lot to us! That night we were Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in the church musical. It was a very busy weekend and I think we wore poor Boo Boo out! I cannot believe it but he is already teething so that is an issue right now. He has 2 white bottom teeth visible. They say they can start teething at 3 months. We are going to get some teething tablets today (we might even try giving him some Tylenol). Hope yall had a great weekend as well!
