Just in case any of you get like me, and get haughty and think that you are ultimately in control of everything major in your life, here are some humbling Proverbs for the day. Praise God that He is in control!
"In his heart a man plans his course,
but the Lord determines his steps." Prov. 16:9
"Many are the plans in a man's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Prov. 19:21
What a blessing it has been to be reading through Proverbs right now in my reading through the Bible in a year plan!
