We did go today and to the Health Department for the kids to get their flu shots. Jackson gets so sick when he does get sick, so it is important for us to all get our flu shot. When he was 13 months old, he got the flu in October and was the first confirmed case at our doctor's office. We knew no one who had the flu. Jackson was so sick and his fever got so high that he looked like he was going in and out of consciousness on the way to the doctor.

The Lexington Health Department was a good experience and the kids got their shots free there, but you have to have an appointment. Adults are $25, which is the same price that Walgreen's has. I got my flu shot last week at Walgreen's (I did have an appointment). Believe it or not, Abigail was more dramatic than Jackson with the shot and poor baby has to get another one in 4 weeks since this is her first time getting the flu shot obviously.
